The circular economy is a production and consumption model initiative based on reducing-reusing-recycling existing materials and products to create added value.
This stems from a sustainable commitment, based on recycling, supported by the EU with the expectation that in the future 100% of packaging used will be recyclable.
The European Commission presented in March 2020, within the framework of the European Green Pact and as part of the proposed new industrial strategy, a new Circular Economy Action Plan that includes proposals on more sustainable product design, waste reduction and citizen empowerment.
Another important fact is that as of next July 3, the European Union directive approved in 2019 to reduce plastic waste will come into force. This regulation is closely linked to the circular economy, since the objective is to be able to use each resource as many times as possible.
Taking into account this characteristic, in Tecnopol we are very aware of sustainability, that is why we produce materials such as TECNOFOAM (thermal insulation), free of gases that cause greenhouse effect and, using instead, water as an expansive agent, which has no negative effect on the environment.
This, together with the fact that they are completely stable and inert products once applied, in other words, they do not emit any type of particle during their entire useful life. In addition, at the time of removal, it is a recyclable material without the need for special actions, or like TECNOCOAT, pure polyurea membrane free of solvents, zero VOC. (With zero emissions of hazardous substances into the atmosphere), which is why it has obtained the Green Label certificate in Singapore and is currently in the process of obtaining it in other countries.
