GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
- Two-component, aliphatic, transparent and glossy finish, cold polyurea-based resin. Once dried, it forms a hard, strong seamless and continuous film, with excellent adhesion and mechanical properties, resistant to weathering, extreme temperatures, resistant to the UV radiation(outdoor and indoor applications)and suitable for coating protection for traffic-car.
- Applicable on concrete substrates, cement for pavements, roofs, terraces, balconies.
- Quick start-up of the pavement (approximately 2 hours in pedestrian traffic, and 8~12 hours in light vehicular traffic)
- It must be applied in sound and resistant substrates, with no presence of humidity/water on the surface whether at the time of application or subsequently (pressure from phreatic water level, damp-water). In the event there is humidity in the substrate at the moment of application, use some of our primers.
- The final product is obtained by mixing 100% of the two components. If only part of the product is used, make sure that this ratio is always maintained to ensure that the final result retains the product's best qualities
- Do not add water in any case. Desmosolvent (max. 5%) can be added for ease of use
- Do not apply for swimming pool coatings
PACKAGING
Metallic pail kit of: 1.4 kg + 3.6 kg
SHELF LIFE
12 months at temperatures between 5 and 35° C (41 to 95 ºF), provided it is stored in a dry place. Once the tin has been opened, the product must be used.
MIXING PROCEDURE
These are the steps for the correct mixing of both components:
- open pails of both components and homogenize each one by mixing equipment at medium speed
- pour component B into the container of component A
- mix using electric mixing equipment at medium speed
Cement or concrete surfaces
- any depressions or voids should be repaired using a mix (ratio of ±1:4) of our epoxy resin Primer EP-1020 mixed with silica sand. This action can vary the color of substrate in these specific areas.
- fill joints with Mastic PU, polyurethane mastic. This action can vary the color of substrate in these specific areas.
- the concrete should be completely cured (concrete curing takes 28 days) or, in any case, the maximum level of humidity allowed for the substrate should be verified, depending on the primer used.
- any concrete latencies or release agents should be eliminated and an open-pore surface achieved by grit blasting, milling, or sanding.
- clean up the surface or substrate, removing any dust, dirt, grease, or efflorescence.
- apply a coat or Primer T on top of this clean substrate
- apply by a short-nap roll, several layers of Tecnotop S-3000 T. Consumption in this type of application is approximately 250-500 g/sqm, depending on the roughness of the substrate.
Ceramic surfaces
- Support will be strong and dry.
- Clean up the surface, removing dust, oils and grasses, and existing chippings.
- We recommend applying on the substrate with the primer PrimerT with a clean cloth and allow drying (15 - 20 min).
- apply by a short-nap roll, several layers of Tecnotop S-3000 T. Consumption in this type of application is approximately 250-500 g/sqm, depending on the roughness of the substrate.
NOTE: For other types of substrates, weather conditions or final use, consult our technical department.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
These safety recommendations for handling, are necessary for the implementation process as well as in the pre and post, on exposure to the loading machinery.
- Respiratory Protection: When handling or spraying use an air-purifying respirator.
- Skin protection: Use rubber gloves, remove immediately after contamination. Wear clean body-covering. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after work and before eating, drinking or smoking.
- Eye / Face: Wear safety goggles to prevent splashing and exposure to particles in the air.
- Waste generation should be avoided or minimized. Incinerate under controlled conditions in accordance with local laws and national regulations.
Consult the material and safety data sheet of the product (MSDS), or contact our technical department.
